XTK-12 – Thermostat Installation Kit (Process Heating Applications)

The Norseman™ XTK facilitates field installation of a thermostat into other x-Max® based products, such as the Norseman™ XB Explosion-Proof Convection Heater. These products may then be stocked standard without thermostats and customer can get a kit supplied when required. The XTK-12 model for process heating applications has a temperature range of 10°C to 120°C (50°F to 250°F).

XTB-12 – Explosion-Proof Remote Sensing Thermostat (Process Heating Applications)

The Norseman™ XTB Explosion-Proof Thermostat is designed for remote sensing and control applications in hazardous locations where explosive substances may be present, such as air, ducts, pipes or tanks. The XTB-12 model for process heating applications has a temperature range of 10°C to 120°C (50°F to 250°F). All thermostats in the XT series use the patented x-Max® terminal housing with the unique track and trolley wiring to provide maximum durability, safety, convenience and ease of use.

XTWL – Explosion-Proof Liquid Sensing Thermostat

The Norseman™ XTWL Explosion-Proof Liquid Sensing Thermostat is designed for liquid temperature sensing and control in hazardous locations where explosive substances may be present, such as pipes or tanks. All thermostats in the XT series use the patented x-Max® terminal housing with the unique track and trolley wiring to provide maximum durability, safety, convenience and ease of use.

The Norseman™ XTWA Explosion-Proof Air Sensing Thermostat is designed for air temperature sensing and control in hazardous locations where explosive substances may be present. The XTWA-04 model for space heating applications has a temperature range of -18°C to 40°C (0°F to 100°F). All thermostats in the XT series use the patented x-Max® terminal housing with the unique track and trolley wiring to provide maximum durability, safety, convenience and ease of use.

AC-G – Saftey Shut-Off Valve (with Thermostat, Mertick)

The multi-function valve works in conjunction with a thermocouple to monitor the catalytic reaction in the Cata-Dyne™ heater to ensure it is well established before the fuel supply remains on unattended. It is also designed to shut off the gas supply to the heater automatically if the thermocouple senses that the catalyst has dropped below the activation temperature. This unit functions as a non-electric combination of a safety shut-off valve and a thermostat control.
