AC-VH – Vent Hood Assembly

This venting system is intended for use with Cata-Dyne™ heaters to vent the by-products of a catalytic reaction (carbon dioxide and water vapour) outside the building where the heater is in use. Each assembly consists of an exhaust hood, a 30" long vent pipe, an elbow, flashing and a snowcap.

AC-TC – Thermostatic Temperature Control Valve

This unit is designed with a bulb and capillary assembly that automatically regulates the fuel flow to the Cata-Dyne™ heater. The sensing bulb is filled with temperature sensitive liquid, which responds to changes in temperature by expanding or contracting. This modulates the flow of fuel from 100% when heat is required to approximately 30% when the thermostat is satisfied. This unit is typically used to control building temperature for spot and space heating applications.

ASV-NT – Tamper-Proof Safety Shut-off Valve

This safety shut-off valve works in conjunction with a thermocouple to monitor the catalytic reaction in the Cata-Dyne™ heater and ensure it is well established before the fuel supply remains on unattended. It is also designed to shut off the gas supply to the heater automatically if the thermocouple senses that the catalyst has dropped below the activation temperature. The ASV-NT model includes an additional tamper-resistant design to prevent mechanical attempts to fix the valve open and override the valve's safety features.

SF-1 – Stratafan ™ Forced Convection Fan for Infrared Heaters

The Stratafan™ enhances the space heating performance of our industry-leading Cata-Dyne™ Infrared Gas Catalytic Heaters by adding forced convection capabilities, promoting uniform heat distribution in enclosed areas, and reducing temperature stratification and ventilation dead spots. Immediate benefits of using a Stratafan with your Cata-Dyne™ heater include higher overall air temperature, lower humidity levels, and reduced condensation/ice build-up. A unique combination of technical ingenuity and simple construction offer a rugged unit with long service life. The Stratafan™ is compatible with Cata-Dyne™ heaters of any size using our selection of mounting kits.

AC-G – Saftey Shut-Off Valve (with Thermostat, Mertick)

The multi-function valve works in conjunction with a thermocouple to monitor the catalytic reaction in the Cata-Dyne™ heater to ensure it is well established before the fuel supply remains on unattended. It is also designed to shut off the gas supply to the heater automatically if the thermocouple senses that the catalyst has dropped below the activation temperature. This unit functions as a non-electric combination of a safety shut-off valve and a thermostat control.

ASV – Safety Shut-Off Valve

The safety shut-off valve works in conjunction with a thermocouple to monitor the catalytic reaction in the Cata-Dyne™ heater and ensure it is well established before the fuel supply remains on unattended. It is also designed to shut off the gas supply to the heater automatically if the thermocouple senses that the catalyst has dropped below the activation temperature.

AC-SN – Protection Grills

Protection grills affixed to Cata-Dyne™ heaters are installed to protect personnel and objects from coming into direct contact with the face of the heater. They are available in two styles: Strap-On and Snap-On. Strap-On grills are bolted to the heater box with straps, whereas Snap-On grills snap on to the bezel of the heater for quick and easy installation without the need for tools or hardware.

AC-R – Gas Pressure Regulator

The Cata-Dyne™ line of Gas Pressure Regulators are designed to provide precise control of gas or propane flow, and are part of the piping system connected to the Cata-Dyne™ heaters. There are three types of regulators available, suitable for different applications. The Appliance Regulator controls the manifold pressure on Cata-Dyne™ heaters fuelled by natural gas. The Service or Low Pressure Regulator works with all Cata-Dyne™ heater models operating on LPG or natural gas. It serves as a natural gas low pressure line regulator when used in conjunction with the gas appliance regulator. The High Pressure Regulator has a similar function to the Low Pressure, but features much higher maximum inlet and outlet pressures, and is installed upstream of any other regulators provided.

FLODRI – FLO-DRI Series Compressed Gas Scrubbing Systems

FLO-DRI Series Compressed Gas Scrubbing Systems are designed for gas conditioning of fuel gas from natural gas wells at the point of use to remove aerosols, contaminants, H2S, moisture, oil and solids. This process eliminates the costly down time associated with instrument and catalytic heater failure caused by the presence of these substances. The system is engineered for long life, featuring easy cartridge change out, low pressure drop, low maintenance and low cost operation.
